Luminary Comity Arts Program

Luminary's mission is to work to have open human potential, build community and enrich quality of life by engaging people in theater, food, design, and art to reflect the wonder and difficulty of our time. The agency’s focus is to enhance the palette with a wide spectrum of experience of every flavor of art and build a connection with the historic latches upon them; as well as the open mindedness for innovation and necessary change.

Luminary vision is seeking to entertain and educate while also helping the community. This includes providing activities, support, and resources for youth and young adults who want to express their artistic talents, which also, brings awareness to youth issues in the community such as poverty, homophobia, transphobia, ageism, racism, sexual health services and resources.

Through the art programs that Luminary offers the community. We will serve and work with youth and young adults of ages 10-25 years old. Luminary will provide a network of different topics and styles of art. Luminary does this through holding events, master classes, talkbacks/mentorship where participants will develop their own unique art styles, building skills for their future and create works of art in our multi programs. Giving young people a positive outlet for their creativity will keep them off the streets and out of harm's way. Through this program artists will showcase their talents in one of Luminary’s events.
